Free Credit Card Acceptance Plug In

The Free Payment Acceptance app is a plug-in available in VendHQ.com and also in select VeriFone payment terminals that allows merchants the ability to accept credit card payments without processing fees.  With the recent change to card processing rules, retail merchants are now entitled to defer the cost of payment acceptance to customers.

Vend POS Plug In

The plug in for Vend POS works directly in Vend and totals the order amount.  Prior to checkout, a pop-up screen will show the cashier the total of the sale and the processing fees associated with the transaction.  When the card is swiped or keyed in, the total amount of the transaction is sent for approval.  Upon approval, a receipt will print with line items displaying the original amount and processing fee.

VeriFone Surcharge Application

The VeriFone surcharge application is a simple and effective POS terminal application that is downloaded into the VeriFone Vx510 and Vx570 terminal to support the new surcharge rules.  Completely self sufficient, the terminal application prompts after the total amount of the sale information regarding the processing fees, when approved, the authorization is complete and receipt showing line itemization and customer signature line.  Upon completion,  a receipt is provided to the client with the total amount.

Discounting

Both applications support the ability to discount for less costly payment types.  To provide incentives for cash, check and other payment types, discounts can be applied to other payment types removing the fee for card acceptance to the client as an added value.

Vend Plug In Cost- FREE*

 The application is provided at no cost to Vend clients in the US with an approved payment provider.  Ana approved payment provider is required to ensure appropriate management of the program.  

VeriFone Terminal Application Cost- FREE*

If you have an existing VeriFone terminal with acceptable security levels, the application can be downloaded and installed in the terminal with an approved payment processor.  Without terminal, we can provide rental options or low cost purchase options.

Payment Processing Fee – NONE/FREE

All fees collected during the checkout process will be deposited into your checking account.  At the end of the month, we will make a debit to your account to capture the funds for processing paid by the customer.  When complete, your payment services will be 100% free.
